Instructions on how to use the ANY application?
The “ANY” application is designed to comprehensively inform users about historical or cultural places/objects when they are in close proximity to them. Essentially, the application serves as a digital city guide for those who prefer not to use traditional guides or search independently for the location and descriptions of the city’s cultural and historical landmarks on the internet.
The technology is based on the interaction between the user’s smartphone and a Bluetooth beacon located on the object. When approaching an object within a specified radius, the application informs the user via push notification about the possibility to familiarise themselves with information about this place/object.
Upon user agreement, the application opens a page on the smartphone screen dedicated to the place/object. Users can view photos, read descriptions, listen to audio guides, watch videos, and even pinpoint the objects/places location on a map. Additionally, recommended nearby cultural and historical places/objects are displayed. All materials are available in multiple languages, with the default language being the user’s smartphone operating system language.
The application is free for users and doesn’t require any personal information. It is user-friendly and intuitive.
To launch the application in your city, you can submit an application by completing a brief questionnaire. After approval, you will receive an email with a login and password to your personal account. In your personal account, you can create numerous objects/places, filling them with content that will be displayed to users of the application.
Please note that to enable the application for your selected objects/places, Bluetooth beacons need to be installed. You can install them independently following simple instructions or request assistance from our specialists for installation and testing in real urban conditions.
Bluetooth beacons have low energy consumption and require battery replacement approximately once a year.
All data added to the system by the personal account owner is password-protected and can be optionally stored in the cloud storage on the owner’s choice.
The license cost for accessing the personal account for data input and editing is ____________ euros per year.
